Process

Contact

Make a time to come in and meet with the Holloway Builders team at their office. Talk through your wants, needs, size of house and costs. Their number one priority when building is ensuring the client’s happiness. With clear communication and high standards, Holloway Builders make sure the building process is as easy and stress-free as possible.

Site

If you don’t already have a site, Holloway Builders can help you choose one to fit with the design you have in mind. Once a site has been confirmed an onsite meeting will be arranged to discuss your ideas, view position, location, boundaries and neighbouring properties to maximise the best aspects.

Plans

Holloway Builders can work with your chosen Architect or Architectural designer’s plans. They can also guide you through the design and build process. There are advantages to both, but your site, your circumstances and your requirements will largely determine which option is the most suitable.

Design Concepts

If you decide to choose the design and build process with Holloway Builders, the exciting stage of creating initial concepts will begin. This gives you a better idea of what your new home will look like and how it will interact with the environment.
Holloway Builders will give you a guide as to the price of your house and landscaping (retaining or driveway). This cost will be based on what you have specified as your preferred requirements. With the concept approved, you can proceed to the next step.

Price

With the design drawing and price plans finalised, Holloway Builders will present you with a priced contract and a detailed addendum of specifications. Once you are happy with this it’s time to sign the contract.

Consent

Working drawings are then submitted for building consent. Once you have given final permission to proceed, Holloway Builders will get council approval to build. Construction on your new home can begin.

Construction

Before Holloway Builders start your build, a pre-construction meeting will take place. This is your chance to meet your Project Manager and other key people who will be bringing your home to life. At your request, Holloway Builders can also ensure you are invited to site meetings during the different stages of construction. Your Project Manager will stay in regular contact to keep you in the loop.

Handover

Once your home is completed and the council signs off that it has been built as per the building consent, Holloway Builders will take you through the snagging and handover process before giving you the keys to your brand new home.
As a Registered Master Builder, all Holloway Builders’ homes come with a Master Builders 10 Year Guarentee.
